Girls attending Tech Trek, '07
Tech Trek is a California State AAUW project, for which we raise funds to send 10 SCV girls each summer. We are also receiving corporate donations for this project, which means we will be able to send more girls.
Tech Trek is a week-long residential math/science camp for girls entering the eighth grade, held at universities, such as Stanford and UCSD.
All sleeping, eating, instructional and recreational facilities are located on the university campus. Each camp features hands-on activities in math and science plus related field trips. The camps also offer many other activities, such as swimming and math/logic related games
