***LAF has become a part of EF (Educational Foundation) ***

It still does all the things listed below

Legal Advocacy Fund is the nation’s largest legal fund focused solely on sex discrimination in higher education. The fund provides monetary help and a support system for women fighting sex discrimination at colleges and universities and  for women seeking judicial redress for sex discrimination.

Since 1981 the AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund has helped students, faculty, staff, and administrators in higher education challenge discriminatory practices—practices such as sexual harassment, denial of tenure or promotion, pay inequity, inequality in women’s athletics programs, and other practices.
